I'm a type of vegetarian (no meat except some fish such as salmon and tuna, limited eggs, some cheese, no milk). After becoming an non-smoker 9 years ago, my weight exploded. I've addressed it with proper eating, education, even hired a trainer 4 days @ week, but never kept to anything long enough. I'm trying now to make healthy cooking my core effort in weight loss.

I rarely cook and am very inexperienced, however, I love cooking when I take the time to do it and when I learn more about it.
My cooking triumphs
In experimenting with low-fat snacks, I created a "cheese wrap stick" using strips of low-fat whole grain wrap and Weight Watchers cheese along with a balsamic vinegar coating inside. I thought they were very satisfying but no one else did because they compared them to real cheese sticks.
