My cooking tragedies
The absolute worst thing I ever made was a carob-tofu pie. The look on my husband's face after taking a huge bite was priceless! I thought it couldn't be THAT bad, but I was wrong, it was vile(LOL). From then on, I decided to stick with traditional ingredients and exercise moderation when indulging in sweets. It has served me and my family well for over 25 years...

Easy Lemon Cake Cookies with Icing
Just OK-I had to bake at 375 for 8 min-at 350 they were still raw inside. I would used melted butter next time, the oil taste lingers. I also added 2 tsp. of fresh lemon juice and 1 tsp. of lemon zest-otherwise they would be very bland...
