I didn't think the Cream of Wheat added anything. I wished I had used my old standard recipe which called for bread and milk and parmesan cheese. My husband loved it though.

I was looking for a chewy oatmeal cookie and this recipe was very good. I had to substitute Splenda white and brown sugar because my husband is diabetic. I found that the amount of sugar called for is too high. I would use less sugar the next time and use more nuts, cranberries and or raisins. Also more spices.
