Gingerbread Waffles

My family considers themselves waffle connoiseurs...and these are now their favorite waffles (and mine too :-) ). I used a belgian waffle maker and doubled the recipe (6 servings) and got exactly 6 waffles--1 each and 3 for the freezer. The recipe was rather complicated compared to a box mix but the end result was definitely worth the extra effort! I changed nothing and they turned out perfectly!

Blueberry Oat Waffles

Excellent! Easy recipe, great texture, very flavorful. I used wheat flour instead of white flour and tasted great!

Crispy Walnut Maple Waffles

Excellent taste and texture. I added crumbled crisp bacon to the top of the batter before I flipped the waffle iron. My waffle connoisseur boys (hubby and son)loved them as a change of pace from my usual souped-up box mix. I gave only 4 stars because of the batter consistency with the original recipe. I added an additional cup of milk and could have probably added another 1/2 to 1 cup but didn't want to overshoot and make too runny the first time.
