I am a big fan of movies!! I love Transformers, Twilight, Camaros, AC/DC, Rascal Flatts, and my best friends.
My favorite things to cook
I love to make chop suey. I made it for the first time a little while ago and I loved it! I like to cook more basic things and I love to recreate my grandma's old recipes. She died before I was born, and it makes me feel close to her.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love to read my grandmother's old cookbooks. Every year at Christmas, we eat my grandmother's family-famous pizza green beans. It is so good, even though is sounds gross. I want to find the recipe, but no luck. It's green beans with cheese and this really good tomato sauce stuff. It rocks! Also, every year my family on my mom's side gets together and makes lefse to celebrate our Norwegian heritage.
My cooking triumphs
I made the best cake in history! It wasn't from the box, either. I also made the greatest chop suey! My brother is the pickiest eater in the world, and he ate most of it, so that was a success! I also made a homemade pizza and it was almost the best I ever had. It wasn't as good as the pizza for a local restaurant where I live, but it was still really good.
My cooking tragedies
I accidentally burned a homemade pizza. I forgot to take it out of the oven and it turned black. Once my mom and I were making lasagna and there was no shredded cheese and we didn't have a shredder, so I cut thin slices by hand. I put it on the top and slip the pan in the oven. My mom and I left and her boyfriend was supposed to take it out, and he forgget and my cheesewas burned to a crisp! It really sucked that the cheese burned but taste so good!
