Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup
I looked over this recipe before I decided to make it to see if it was different from the one I already make. The cook time on this recipe is too long. I usually bake about 4 bone in chicken breast on 350 for about 25-30 minutes depending on the thickness. I use either home made chicken broth about or store bought(about 1 1/2 cans) add can corn, black beans, can of mixed beans, either diced tomatoes with green peppers and onions or can of rotel tomatoes, a package of taco seasoning, and a pack of hidden valley ranch dry seasoning packet(this gives it a very good flavor.) Of course you would cook 1 chopped onion, 1 red and green bell pepper then all all other ingredients along with the shredded chicken and simmer for about 30 minutes. This soup has no end to the things you can add.
