Slow Cooker Marmalade Curry Chicken
Thanks for sharing this recipe. My husband, who can be very picky about his curry, loved it! I followed others' suggestions, and this is how I modified the dish. Dredged the chicken in flour with salt and pepper (also cut up the chicken into bite-sized pieces). Used half of an 18oz jar of marmalade. It was still a bit too orange-y for my taste so I know to use less next time. Used 2 tsp curry powder (a bit more next time - we love stronger curry flavor). Used only 1/4 tsp of cayenne, and I'm glad I did because it had just enough kick and wasn't too spicy for my kids. Added half a can of coconut milk the last half hour. The dish came out creamy and had so many layers of flavor in it. My husband said it's a definite repeat!
