This is a great recipe for low carb diets. I have made it many times with various toppings. It's very good with hot turkey sausage, onions, peppers, and mushrooms. Just top it with your favorite pizza toppings and you will not be disappointed.

I was very disappointed in this recipe. The predominate flavor was salt. I followed the recipe as written. I used Oscar Mayer bacon and Hidden Valley Original Ranch dressing mix. It was served at a cookout and no one had more than one helping. I'm not sure how I would have altered the recipe to our taste, except to maybe use low sodium bacon. I won't try this recipe again.

These were very good meatballs. My turkey and ground beef amounts were slightly greater than the recipe called for, so after cooking a sample for seasoning, I found that I needed a bit more seasoning. I added some garlic powder, about a half cup of parmigiano reggiano and a few good shakes of worcestershire sauce. I did not brown them, I put them directly in my convection oven and then into a pot of pasta sauce. I will definitely make this recipe again.
