Best Steak Marinade in Existence
Not just for steaks!! It was teriffic on salmon filets, a really distinctive change to the usual seafood preparations. My husband and I both wished I had fixed larger portions. I made two small changes as per other suggestions with a little brown sugar and used only fresh minced garlic. I marinated the filets overnight and baked the fish for 25 min at 350. I basted the salmon once or twice with the remaining marinade but I just like to futz, it probably wasn't necessary. A most excellent marinade .... our new favorite.

Sesame Green Beans
My husband (a vegtable snob) raved about this dish. I started w/ 1/2 box of sliced plain old white mushrooms sauted in the oil until really wilted and slightly browned before adding the sesame seeds. I toasted them in the pan along w/ the mshrooms & oil and then followed the orig. receipe. I also used frozen green beans and they worked just great. Thanks for another good idea for "what vegtable to fix tonight?"
