Strawberry Cake from Scratch
I made this cake last night but instead of making a layer cake I made cup cakes and I used a vanilla frosting. They were delicious.I got so many compliments from my toughest critics (my kids). I pureed fresh strawberries with a little sugar so I cut the sugar down in the cake from 2c to 1 1/2c and it was perfect. I brought some to work this morning my co-worker said she felt like she was biting into a strawberry dream, lol. Definiteley a keeper.
