I'm a work at home Mom and Grandma who loves to cook, create new recipes and try other cooks' recipes and tweak them to my taste. But mostly, I love to share great recipes and menus with young people and new cooks to get them started on a successful and fun time in the kitchen.

I have no favorite things to cook, I love everything. But I do admit, I have a passion for appetizers.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love the tradition of big family dinners with lots of people, lots of food, different dishes from everyone's kitchen, lots of bedlam and a lot of love.
My cooking triumphs
My triumph in cooking was when my father asked me for a recipe. He loved my mother's cooking and up until then, nobody else's had a chance. But one day I made my famous cinnamon applesauce and he asked for the recipe. WOW!!!!!
My cooking tragedies
No single cooking tragedy comes to mind, but I really don't like when someone doesn't like my food. I tend to make many different dishes per meal so that everyone will find something they like so I don't feel like a failure.
