Easy Sausage Strata
I prepared this Christmas Eve and popped it in the oven Christmas morning letting it cook while we opened packages. I will do this again next year! I made one change: I put frozen cube cut hash browns in the bottom of the pan instead of bread. The dish was still very good. I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 because I thought the cheese made it a little too greasy for me. I'll cut back next time. Also, it's a great way to use up some of that left over ham.

Watermelon Salsa
This is a refreshing choice of salsa. You can make it as hot or mild as you like. I used fresh minced garlic (not too much) and added cilantro. Very good!

Irish Whiskey Flat Iron Steak
I marinated this for about 4 hours in the fridge. Unfortunately, I overcooked the meat to well done. Expecting the meat to be a little tough, I was pleasantly surprised that it was quite tender. Will make this again, but I will watch the time on the grill.
