About this Cook
Hola! My name is Heather and I'm a 26 year old stay at home mom. I've been married to Angel for almost 4 years, and we have a 2 years old son named Evan.
My favorite things to cook
Homemade tomato sauce for pasta, caldo de res, cactus salad, anything in the slow-cooker
My favorite family cooking traditions
I come from a long line of great cooks! My great grandma, my grandma, and my mom always cooked wonderfully! My in-laws are Mexican, so I've learned many mexican dishes to keep the culture alive in my home.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style
This is amazingly delicious! The skin is crispy, and the meat is tender and juicy! I have used this rub many times now, and love it!

Sauza(R)-Rita
My mom and I made these at a friend's birthday party. They are so easy to make, a drunk person could make them. The flavor is excellent, but I felt the amount of tequila was a little too much. Overall, I liked them, and would probably make again (with less tequila).

Tomato Chicken Parmesan
Oh, so, very yummy! Needed some salt. I will make it again with a few changes!
