I am 33, single, and disabled. I enjoy cooking for myself and my parents, who live 5 minutes away. I am good with the old meat and potatoes, but want to try some new tastier things. My favorite thing to cook is simple boiled shrimp. This is because it is my favorite thing to eat. One of my family cooking traditions is making Polish keilbasi sausage from scratch, but the meat stuffer/grinder went out with hurricane Katrina. I have not replaced it yet. The first time I tried to cook I was 2 years old. I got out the electric skillet and put in some sliced ham and eggs(with the shells), but was unable to reach far enough to plug the cord in the wall. I did however manage to set the table. None so far. I keep my fingers crossed.
