Another doubter turned believer! These big ol' boats were packed with flavor. I originally thought that the combination wouldn't turn out, but I was dead wrong. Before I knew it, the recipe requests were flying at me!

Apple-Stuffed Acorn Squash

A beautiful dish that is quick and easy to throw in the oven. The presentation is wonderful with some walnuts and raisins as well. The squash came out a bit dry, but that might have been my mistake.

Whole Wheat and Honey Pizza Dough

Easy enough to make with my bread machine. It grilled quite nicely, if not just a tad crispy and thick. All in all, I use this dough whenever I'm doing a healthy pizza!

Firecracker Grilled Alaska Salmon

Some great salmon that cook up quick and easy; a tad sweet with just a hint of spice! A bit underwhelming, actually, but all in all it was quite a hit with the family.

Summer Chicken Burgers

Yes, yes, yes! Summer gets too boring with the standard all-beef burger. These burgers are savory as they are unique and a bit sweet to the taste. I would skip the mayo next time, but that may just be my taste.

Roquefort Pear Salad

A wonderful blend of sweet tastes and crunchy yet creamy textures. The avocado was subtle but it made the salad so enjoyable! I always throw this salad together when trying to impress a loved one. Highly recommended!

Hearty Multigrain Bread

Wow! I wish I could rate something over five stars because this loaf surely deserves six! The crust is delightfully crunchy and yet the bread itself is chewy and sweet. Each seed adds a pop of flavor which all meld together with every bite. I would double the measurements next time as the bread was gobbled up within minutes of it emerging from the machine! Again, WOW!

Cranberry Oat Bread

A very easy and very tasty loaf! I added the cranberries in right away rather than waiting until my bread machine started to beep; the loaf was fine, it just tasted like cranberries rather than having the actual cranberry chunks throughout the loaf. The bread was a bit soggy and, at times, the cranberry taste was a tad overwhelming. Regardless, this is a great bread!

Baked Flan

I can't believe I made flan! This recepie was easy enough to follow and is sure to impress any dinner guest after some Mexican cuisine. The caramel hardened quite quickly and did not spread as evenly as I had hoped but I imagine that was my fault rather than the recepies. I served it hot with whipped cream as well as frozen with strawberries the following day. Both crowds loved it and I will be sure to make this again when I can fit it in!
