Excellent base lentil soup recipe! This recipe is great exactly as it is written, but like most people I have made changes over time. If you have never made lentil soup before, use this recipe, then the next time you make it start to get creative. I add cumin, marjoram, smoked sausage (a must for me), and a whole lot more spinach.

Very good, I made this with ground turkey instead of beef. The meat mixture is great, the sauce is a little sweet. I would recommend making 3x the sauce, but only double the brown sugar.

I had a craving for peanut butter cookies but was lacking on the ingredients, I didn't feel like going to the store so I tried these out. They were way too rich, not a substitute for regular peanut butter cookies.
