Me
About this Cook
I am a 21 year old with a love but very limited knowledge of food. I only know what I have managed to teach myself or have watched on the various cooking shows I watch daily (I'm kind of a nerd like that). I also have a deep passion for animal rights and I'm currently studying to become an Animal Health Technologist.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook seafood and anything on a grill. I also love to bake anything sweet, especially cookies.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom cooks the same Christmas cookies every year. It's something everyone looks forward to!
My cooking triumphs
Two years ago I cooked an entire Christmas feast for my family. It was, by far, the proudest moment of my cooking career.
My cooking tragedies
I baked my dad a cake for his birthday this year. It was a delicious sounding marble cake that I had iced perfectly. Unfortunately, the cake turned out to be almost completely inedible, but it looked great. Oh well, it's the thought that counts!

Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies II
These are, by far, the best cookies I have ever baked. I think the brown sugar makes them. The only changes I made was that I didn't melt the butter. I just creamed it together with the brown sugar at room temp and these turned out fantastic! Oh, also used milk chocolate chips because they're the best. Great recipe!!!!!

Special Butterscotch Chip Cookies in a Jar
These cookies taste great! They're not too sweet at all so they're perfect for someone looking for a good cookie recipe without all the sugar. One thing I would point out is not to skip the step that involves pressing the cookies before baking. I usually skip this step myself because I like fat chewy cookies, but these ones don't level out on their own. Hope this helps!
