Phyllo-Wrapped Halibut Fillets with Lemon Scallion Sauce

After halving the amount of lemon juice used based on the recommendation of many reviews, this dish turned out AMAZING. I have never prepared fish beyond very basic salmon, and this recipe was practically fool-proof. I plan on trying it with different (less expensive) fish in the future.

Chicken Hariyali Tikka

Great recipe--the first time I prepared it as written, substituting red curry paste for green chile paste as that is what I have. This turned out great. The second time I doubled the listed ingredients, blended them with a can of coconut milk, and simmered the chicken in the sauce. This was *delicious*. It makes a fresh-tasting curry that's great over rice.

Slow-Roasted Tomatoes with Feta, Olives and Pinenuts

I made these for friends and they were absolutely delicious. I made the recipe as written (although I didn't measure very precisely) and they came out perfectly. I mixed in a little garlic and herb feta with the original to spice them up a bit as well. I highly recommend this recipe for guests.

Pepper-Crusted Beef Tenderloin with Chocolate-Port Sauce

I prepared this with ribeye steak, and while the sauce was interesting, most of us thought it was a little too rich. I may try this again with half the chocolate as others have recommended.

Patti's Mussels a la Mariniere

We made this recipe as written (the sauce was doubled with a little extra garlic). It turned out very good but seemed to lack something. Next time I'll increase the white wine in proportion to the butter and wait to add the parsley and onions like others have mentioned.

Amazing Sun-Dried Tomato Cream Sauce

Fantastic recipe, we added garlic and topped with chopped basil. We also used bagged sun-dried tomatoes. Make sure you rehydrate them first to get rid of the chewy consistency. In the end this tasted like something from a restaurant!

Breaded, Fried, Softly Spiced Tofu

I've never prepared tofu before, and I found this recipe to be a very easy and fun way to serve tofu. I upped the sage and cayenne a little and added a little dried basil to the breading and left out the yeast as I had none. We dipped these in honey mustard for a great lunch!

Lemon Dill Rice

Reading other reviews, I was worried that the dill might end up being too strong, but my boyfriend and I both thought it was perfect. I changed the recipe slightly by cooking it in a rice cooker instead of baking and adding a little extra lemon juice (as I didn't have a fresh lemon for the zest) as well as a few dashes of garlic powder. I'll definitely be making this again!

Chicken Parmigiana

My sister and I made this for my parents, and they gave rave reviews! We followed others' suggestions and added seasoning to the bread crumbs and cooked the chicken on a cookie cooling rack in the oven; it turned out perfect and crispy. We found this recipe to be very easy to put together and will definitely make it again!
