About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
Anyting and Everything always willinjg to try it once, if we like we add it to the ever growing pile of meals we make, if we don't, well try another one.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Kelbasa, Grilled (with or without BBQ sauce) Slowcooked, boiled, an oldie but goodie always available at any family party.
My cooking triumphs
Lots of them, always get rave reviews, especially over my homemade cookies, and lasagna. Probably my favorite though is when I made Chicken Keiv when I was 13 and it was delicious, I was so proud, been working at it since then. Also I am very proud of my ability to make gourmet meals over a campfire, even when everything as to be hiked in.
My cooking tragedies
I once lit fire to the toaster oven while making my own quesedillas, course I was 12.

Cheesecake Brownies
These were good, but didn't quite taste like Cheesecake, still good though, I think next time I'll try to find an actual cheesecake recipe and put that on top.

Mom's Buttermilk Biscuits
My husband and I both love biscuits and have been eating them most of our lives, we tried these with Sausage Gravy, and were not impressed, I cooked these to exact specs, with the exception of brushing some light butter on top. They were Hard, Flat and tasteless, I thought something might be wrong when it didn't include any sugar, which both his grandma and mine's recipes contain. But as we didn't have their exact recipes we thought we'd try one from the internet, very disappointed, I think I'll be calling my grandma to get her recipe instead.

Bill's Sausage Gravy
My husband and I both thought this was a bit strange, just didn't taste quite right. I don't know maybe we'll try again, but maybe we'll try a different recipe.
