My boyfriend and I have just purchased our first house. Currently living in his parents basement I haven't had much of a chance to cook for us. I'm hoping his mom can teach me how to make his favorite things and I'll be able to conquer the art of cooking! Grilled cheese sandwiches and cheese cake.. except I like the non-baked cheese cake so I'm not sure that counts as cooking. Every year at Christmas we would get together at my Grandparents house and have a huuuuuge meal. Everyone helped out cooking and doing dishes after. I made cheesecake for my boyfriend's moms birthday. I cheated and use cool whip instead of using dream whip, milk, vanilla, etc. It actually turned out really good. I was suptised! I made chicken noodle soup from a bag... and added way tooo much water, and extra macaroni... it was so blah my boyfriend was adding everything to it hoping to make it taste better.
