I have degrees in City Planning and Public Administration. I owned and operated a Mortgage Brokerage until the current economic meltdown required to close my doors in April. Since that time I have been polishing my resume, working at my friend's bookstore and getting caught up with things I always said I would do it I didn't work. I love to bake. My favorite s include breads of all kinds and cookies, my husbands favorite. I always remember baking going on in my mother's family. My Aunt, in her late 70's still bakes for her husband and friends. I took it up a few years ago and found it is a great stress reliever. My family loves any cookies I bake and the two favorites that are most often requested are banana nut bread and lemon bars. So many...where to begin. After cooking all of my adult life I think it is fair to say that I have had a few but overall I think the good outweighs the bad because friends and family still eagerly come to dinner.
