BBQ Dry Rub
I used the rub on one chicken breast just to see what the rub would end up tasting like. I covered both sides of the breast with the rub and baked it (it's raining tonight and so the grill was not an option.) The flavor was good... spicier than I expected but my guy roommates liked the spice. I will try this again but add garlic, onion salt, and some additional seasoning into the rub mix and maybe decrease the amount of pepper. I'll try it 'as is' though on steak and pork just to see because chicken may not have done this rub justice. :)

Easy Slow Cooker Chicken
This was cheap to make which is the main reason I gave it 2 stars. When it comes to how the dish cooked and tasted it wasn't good. The rice was not cooked thoroughly. I added 3 seasonings to the mix and it was still bland. I added butter and another can of cream of chicken and it still had a pastey consistency. This dish would probably perform better as a casserole baked in the oven. I would probably cut the chicken into smaller chunks, add either chicken broth or milk, mix, cover with cheese and bake.

Easy Olive Oil, Tomato, and Basil Pasta
This was simple and really yummy. I did it over cheese tortellini and left out the tomatoes (my boyfriend isn't a fan of veggies) I didn't have fresh basil so I used the basil I did have from my herb collection and I felt like the recipe turned out great :) Will definitely make this again.
