About this Cook
I am a mother of two girls 18 and 14. My life is very busy but I enjoy bringing the family together with food. Cooking is comforting to me and is truly my favorite pass time. I am also a Salon & Spa owner, which takes most of my time. I always try to plan meals and weekend get togethers.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook and bake everything. I like trying new recipes and changing things up. I really like making gourmet foods, desserts, mexican, chinese, pasta, and the list goes on and on. The possibilities are endless.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love cooking for Holidays. I cook as much as I can, and having Family together enjoying everything I have made.
My cooking triumphs
Everything I make turns out really well, And that's my triumph.
My cooking tragedies
The only time I remember was when I was very young, around 15, I was making a New England boiled dinner I asked my gramndmother how to make it, she said "you put potatoes, carrots, cabbage, and ham in a pot and cook it" Well i did as it was on the stove top There was a awful smell, well she never told me to add water...lol so everything burnt what a mess.......

Perfect Turkey
My turkey was still dry I find other brines that use sugar and longer brining times as well make a moist turkey. The flavor from the vegetables and butter and wine made a awesome gravy just very salty so may want to add some water before you make it
