Winco has a deal that if you purchase $50.00 in groceries you can purchase a turkey for .26lb a pound. I just purchased a 27 pounder. I hope it will fit in my roaster. The total cost is only a little over $7. I'm going to find many ways to make this bird stretch. I love congratulating myself on… MORE

In past blogs I've written about Team Up cooking. Usually I'm refering to a small group of friend who pick a few recipes, have fun cooking together and are able to stock their freezer with future dinners.  Team Up cooking is an excellent way to save time and money. I wanted to… MORE

These are pictures of my Grandmother "GG" making her last batches of Green Tomato Relish. She's passing the tradition on to me. Most, it sees, go to the Internet for information and often friendship. I'm so thankful to have a GG who has knowledge and  desire to teach me. Her Green Tomato… MORE

About Me
I am a stay-at-home mome who loves to cook. I don't have time everynight to cook so those nights I pull from my freezer. Freezer cooking more than a hobby for me, its a way of life. Team Up with my friends has helped so many manage meal time chaos that I started a web site to explain 'how to' and provide encouragement. ( www.dinnercoach.com ) My life is filled with my full-time job, raising three active boys who are 5, 3, and 2. They bring joy and meaning to my life. I can't imagine a more fulfilling role than being a mother. Good job to all who are investing their lives into raising the next generation. I also help my husband in his many endeavors.
My favorite things to cook
Anything with friends, pasta, asian, and sauces.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Preparing Thanksgiving Dinner with my mom and grandma.
My cooking triumphs
I've developed the Team Up cooking approach and launched www.dinnercoach.com.
My cooking tragedies
I'm always throwing things together. Sometimes it’s terrible and sometime it works out great. I did have a mishap a few weeks back. I was baking some muffins and the part of a pie I had cooked earlier overflowed to the bottom of the oven and was still there and started on fire. It took my mom, sister-in-law and I to put it out after some screaming. That was memorable.
