Italian Heroes

Wow! So good! I made a couple of small changes- I left the soft bread and did not tear it out, and I served it warm. To serve warm, I wrapped each sandwich in foil and put it in the oven. The flavors blend together so well. It tastes like a high-end deli sandwich.

Cream Cheese Pound Cake III

Specatcular and so easy. I followed the recipe exactly. Be sure to let your butter, cream cheese and eggs come to room temperature before starting. I even got a compliment from my MIL, she loved it!

Thai Style Shrimp

Disappointing, especially after spending $$$ on the shrimp. I followed the recipe to the letter, tomotoes were mushy, sauce never thickened, and prep took almost an hour. I will not be making it again.

Mexican Pesto

Outstanding! I used parm (couldn't find cotija) and a random pepper from our garden. I just kept adding pepper until it was right. I'm bummed that I didn't think of making this before! So many wasted half eaten bunches of cilantro. :(

Barbequed Steelhead Trout

Excellent! The BBQ taste is not strong and does not overpower the trout. I broiled mine for about 15 min. It tastes very similar to salmon to me.

Chicken with Mushrooms, Prosciutto, and Cream Sauce

Too much garlic, this coming from a garlic lover. The prosciutto did not have much flavor, I would use bacon.
