Basic Flaky Pie Crust
This recipe is very easy and the crust comes out very flaky! It is very important that the dough is chilled properly, I have found that if left out too long, the dough becomes difficult to work with and sticks very easily. If this happens, stick it back in the fridge for 15 minutes and it should be okay!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
This pie is top notch. So easy to make!! Tastes wonderful. I do add 1/2 tsp of cinnamon, 1/2 tsp of nutmeg and 1 tsp of vanilla! Serve it warm with vanilla icecream - HEAVEN!!

Easy Yet Romantic Filet Mignon
I tried this recipe tonight, Filet Mignon was on sale, so I couldn't pass up the deal - have never made it though! I followed the recipe with the exception of the shallots (kids and hubby not big fans) - came out perfect! My hubby and kids (7,6 and 2 years old) loved it! They said that mommy cooks better than any restaurant!! Very easy and quick. Only thing is that it is a bit messy in the oven, the meat and bacon popped grease everywhere. Thank goodness for self-cleaning ovens!!
