About this Cook
Hello! I am 32 yrs old and I am a mother of 3 beautiful boys ages 7, 6, and 4. They keep me busy! I am also a happily married woman to a man who has a passion for good food! I too love food (too much)! I am also a registered respiratory therapist who works full time. I enjoy cooking on my days off. I have recently lost 107lbs (took me 18 months) and I'm working on losing 90 more. I am doing it by eating healthy food, low calories and portion control. I also exercise 5-6 days a week. I'm doing it the healthy way. No pills or crazy surgery! I have a cheat day once a week and that is what keeps me going! A lot of my recipes on here are from cheat days! ;) I have a passion for cooking and I'm getting really good at it as I get older. I learned a lot from my grandma but recently I've just been experimenting and trying a lot of recipes on here and my food usually turns out very very good!
My favorite things to cook
Anything that tastes good. I'm trying to learn to cook healthier recipes. I'm getting sick of salads, baked skinless chicken breasts, steamed veggies and protein shakes! lol... I'm not too great with baking yet but I'm getting better. I love to make my man and my boys happy with my cooking. It makes me feel like I'm taking care of them. I get a lot of pleasure presenting my dishes to them and watching them eat it!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love cooking for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
My cooking triumphs
I'm great at cooking meatloaf, spaghetti and homemade meat sauce, lasagna, all kinds of bean soups. I also make a mean pot roast!
My cooking tragedies
I'm not so great at baking yet but I'm getting better.

Deviled Eggs
This was a great recipe. I added some crumbled up bacon pieces to mine. I left out the salt b/c the bacon has plenty of it. It was really good. I recommend adding the bacon.
