Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

My husband likes these muffins but the kids aren't eating them. Thanks for the recipe but I think I'll have to keep looking for one that the kids will eat.

Slow Cooker Swiss Steak

This is a nice banana bread. I only gave it 4 stars as I found it abit lacking in banana flavor and I even used a half cup more banana then the recipe called for. I added 1tsp each of nutmeg and cinnamon and 1/2 cup of half & half cream and I also used 1-1/4 cup all purpose flour and 1 cup whole wheat flour. I'm sure I'll use this recipe again and maybe add some more banana.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

These are fantastic cookies!! The whole family loves them...including a 2 and 5 year old. I did do a few things differently; I used a cup of whole wheat flour and 1 1/4 cup of all purpose, I added some cinnamon to the sugar when I rolled them and I also put the dough in the freezer before I rolled them into balls. When I pressed them with a fork they baked out really flat so I just used my fingers to flatten them a little bit and they turned out perfectly! This is a keeper! Thanks so much.

Yummy Pork Chops

Really good recipe! The husband and kids really enjoyed it. I did make a couple of changes. I browned the chops in olive oil, put onions on the bottom of a 8x8 pan, placed chops on top of the onions, added some minced garlic to the sauce, baked in the oven for 20 mins at 350C uncovered, and added some cornstarch the last 5 minutes of baking to thicken the sauce. Served with rice and broccoli and cheese. We had alot of leftover sauce so I think next time I will half the sauce. Thanks so much for sharing this fab recipe!

Anniversary Chicken I

It was an alright recipe. I'm not sure if I really like the teriyaki and ranch together. I don't think I'll make this again.

Lemon Pepper Zucchini

I made this last night for dinner. My husband really enjoyed it, I thought it was just ok. My husband did say it didn't taste good once it cooled..so eat it when it's hot! I did change a couple of things, I used less lemon pepper and I added parm cheese for the last five minutes of baking. I think next time I'll use more lemon pepper, no chesse and do it on the grill. Thanks for the recipe!

Banana Blueberry Muffins

They are an alright muffin. My husband and I don't mind them but my kids won't touch them. I changed three things; I used half whole wheat and half all purpose flour, added a few chocolate chips and I added some vanilla yogurt for flavor. I don't think I'll be making these again.

Grilled Lemon Herb Pork Chops

Fantastic!! The kids (and adults)couldn't get enough of this one. The only thing I did differently was use olive oil instead of veg oil. I will be using this recipe over and over again!

Home-Style Scalloped Potatoes

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

My husband really enjoyed it. It was abit rich for my taste but I'm sure it's because I made 1 pie, used a block of cream cheese, a small tub of cool whip, and 1 cup of peanut butter and no milk. I think next time I'll make 2 and add the milk and it won't be quite as rich. But it was still really good.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

MMMMM... Brownies

This recipe didn't work at all for me. I followed the recipe exactly but it rose really high and then sunk in the middle and was a soupy mess. I'm gonna give it another go and see how it turns out for the second time.
