I've been cooking since I was nine, it was a real family matter. My only real problem in the kitchen is the microwave, I was taught to use a stove and never really learned good microwave time....so things in the microwave tend to burn.
My favorite things to cook
Anything that I can add rice to seeing as its really a great thing to use, it can be part of the main meal or a side. I love to make soups, and I also adore making homemade pizza....just have to learn how to make my own dough then I'm set for life.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Probably getting together to cook on holidays or for special events like weddings, birthdays and bbqs.
My cooking triumphs
I make alot of my own food now, I figured out some asian dishes, and a few mexican and italian dishes.
My cooking tragedies
Practice, check over the recipie, lay out all needed ingredents, and hope for the best.
