Quick Savory Cranberry Glazed Pork Loin Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2009
This is SO GOOD!!! I added some ground rosemary (I love rosemary and pork) and I used pork tenderloin. So good. I recooked the sauce in a pan till boiling so that I could serve it with the finished meat. My family loved this. Even my daughter-in-law who doesn't like pork. I have also tried this sauce on chicken. Very good. Thanks for the great recipe!

Curry Pumpkin Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
I didn't care for this. As a matter of fact, we didn't eat it. It could very well have been my choice of curry. I think maybe if I would have used a sweet curry I would have liked it better. I found it too spicy for me and not the comforting soup I was looking forward to.

Easy Chicken Fajita Soup

yum! My family liked this a lot! It is nice because you can make it hot or mild. Very easy soup and tasted great! It was great for the deer hunters when they came in for lunch.

Merritt's Butternut Squash Gratin

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2009
Love this! I love the savory squash. Following the advise of another reviewer, I did cook this mostly on the stove then put into the oven for awhile. The important part of stove top cooking is to make sure you get your onion caramelized. I also used asiago and mozzarella for my cheeses (it's what I had) and Italian bread crumbs. My husband loved it and he doesn't eat squash! It really didn't take that much work. I used a really good vegetable pealer to peel the squash and a sharp knife to cut it into chunks. Well worth the effort. Thanks for a great recipe!

Pumpkin Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2009
Yum! I can't give it five because I didn't follow the recipe exactly. However, I know that it is a great idea! I used buffalo meat, added a can of chili beans, a small can of tomato sauce, some brown sugar, (I like my chili sweet) and about a 1/2 cup of water. I also used a package of chili seasoning mix, But it was great! It doesn't taste like pumpkin but the texture is sooooo creamy, a real comfort food! I will definately make this again. Thanks for a great idea!
