About this Cook
I am a single mom that still tries to cook and make new things for my daughter and family.
My favorite things to cook
I love make peoples favorite food, even if it is all new. I just love trying new things and that great feeling you get when a new recipe becomes a new favorite
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love cooking breakfast with my dad. It is just a fun time and a bunch of goofing off that ends with a meal that makes ya wanna take a nap.
My cooking triumphs
my dad taught me to make lasanga when I was really young. In the last few years I have worked on it and now my dad refuses to make lasanga because he says mine is better
My cooking tragedies
I have had many but you know it is bad when the dog won't eat it. I once made chili and got a bunch of my friends sick from it

Amazing Pork Chops in Cream Sauce
These weren't bad but really weren't good either. It could have been the wine I used but it is the wine I use for any recipe. they just tasted like a pork chop, nothing better.

Mrs. Strong's Casserole
It wasn't bad but honestly it wasn't that good either. I mean it didn't have much of a taste and for all the things in it I would expect more.

Pumpkin Ginger Cupcakes
These were amazing. I would say they are more like a muffin though then a cupcake and in being such we didn't use any frosting. It tasted like a spice cake. Will be making these again. The only thing that was odd I used spelenda instead of the sugar so it did cream well but it all came together with the egg and pumpkin.
