I made these and they were delicious! I used Amber Bach beer (it's a dark beer) and it gave them such a wonderful flavor. I even used the liquid they cooked in to make gravy for the mashed potatoes. My boyfriend loved these and I will definitely make them again.

My daughter turned 3 recently and I did a strawberry shortcake themed party. I wanted a true strawberry cake for her, so I tired this. The cake was delicious! I had some problems with it falling apart. I noticed another reviewer did also. However, I think my problem may have been I wasn't able to properly grease the pan. But either way the cake was delicious and everyone loved it!
