Melt-In-Your-Mouth Meat Loaf
I never would have thought that meatloaf in a slow cooker would work, but this is an awesome dish. It comes out so moist!I really don't understand some of these reviewers not using the slow cooker. That's what sets it apart from all other recipes! I didn't have sage when I made it, but I don't think it needed it. I also used a Lipton onion mix and I think it really added some flavor to it. I rated this 4 stars instead of 5 because of the topping. I'm not into sweet stuff with my meats so I didn't add the brown sugar. Instead, my husband made his own little thing by adding Chipotle flavored Tabasco. It gave it a smokey taste and I think it was perfect with the meatloaf. The leftovers are even better and makes a great sandwich for lunch. I made this a couple weeks ago and my husband said it's one of the best things he's ever had so I'm making it again today!
