My favorite things to cook
I grew up in Sri Lanka so a lot of my cooking is flavored that way. I like looking at traditional recipes and changing them to fit my daughter's allergy needs (she's allergic to peanuts, eggs and milk). I rarely follow a recipe the first time, but would rather add my own "flare".
My favorite family cooking traditions
My motto is~ Homemade is better. The more ingredients I can control the happier I am. Why pay high prices for filler ingredients!?

Making my daughter's first b-day cake. Dairy free, egg free, cute and yummy!
My cooking tragedies
The first couple of egg free, milk free cakes I tried! And some recipes just aren't made to be egg free! : )

French Breakfast Puffs
I had to make some changes to this recipe due to my daughter's milk and egg allergies. Wasn't light and tasty, but still good. I think if I make it again I will use powder sugar. They almost taste like the bagged donuts you buy in the grocery store on the Little Debbie aisle.

Garlic Yeast Bread
I loved this bread! My children and husband loved it. It was small, but perfect for my small machine and plenty for a meal! I too used the Italian Seasoning instead of the individual herbs.
