Mexican Bean and Rice Salad
WARNING: Use gloves when working with jalapeno peppers!! This was my first time, and I had no idea what the consequences are. My hands are on fire!!!! The recipe itself is great :)

Oh my! I totally screwed up this recipe and it still came out great! I only had all purpose flour on hand so that's what I used. I don't have a bread machine so just threw everything into a bowl and then worked the dough with my hands. The only thing that I had no idea how to do was adding the yeast (whether I should let it proof first or not). I mixed one packet (8g) of active dry yeast with 1/4 cup warm water and 1 tsp sugar. After about 10 minutes it seemed to be frothy enough so I used about half of that for the recipe. For my first time making bread, I'd say it came out great! Other things I did: brushed a few times with plain water for a crunchy crust and baked on parchement paper.

Amazingly simple and quick!!!! Tastes great and everyone will think you put a lot more work into these cookies than you really did ;) One tip: when you shape your dough balls, make them very very small because they do spread out quite a bit during baking. Like other reviewers stated, keeping them in the oven for 10 minutes is just perfect (not longer).
