As a family we are now addicted to these Crinkles! We are Australian and haven't ever come across anything like this before. First of all I'd thought to practice them with a view to having them as a Christmas treat....good idea. Have made them once a week for three weeks now and there is no sign of the requests letting up. Delicious! Used the plain yogurt instead of sour cream - all I had on hand. Didn't have any soup either !! used a couple of spoonfulls of a powdered base for 'apricot and chicken casserole' so the liquid came only from the yoghurt. Used a slice of dark rye bread underneath the chicken to soak up the wonderful juice, served with green beans. My husband is on his second helping already. Highly recommended.

Wonderful flavour, easy to follow recipe. Did use 1/2 cup of butter to replace 1/2 cup of oil, everything else as stated OOPS! no I baked fresh pumpkin for the puree. Highly recommended! Since the above review I have made the recipe many times as muffins. Revisiting my daughter this week I found a few of the muffins left for over a week covered on the kitchen bench and the children still enjoying them after school. I ate one just to be sure and yes they are a little less moist but still delicious and obviously keep extremely well.
