Steak Fajitas

used another recipe for steak marinade but used this for the peppers and seasoning. omitted the onions, i cant eat them. but i don't know where the other 1T of vegetable oil goes since only 2 go with the chili powder

Beef Tamales

It really does take all day! I didn't have ancho chilies so I added more red pepper flakes. Steamed the tamales and then let them sit on the counter for about 30 minutes to harden.

Roquefort Pear Salad

Used walnuts instead of pecans, thanks to my fiance eating them before I could use them. I used 3 romaine hearts, a large can of pears. I don't like avocado or green onions so I omitted them.

Campbell's Jambalaya

Used 2c water and bouillon instead of broth. Didn't have Creole seasoning so I used Emeril's Original Essence and a few splashes of hot sauce and frozen shrimp, thawed. Also cooked rice separately and threw it in with the shrimp.

1-Dish Taco Bake

Iadded about 3T sugar for a sweeter cornbread and used taco seasoning from this website (Taco Seasoning I). Only used 1 packet yeast and it turned out awesome.

the bread was good, but my problem was my fault for using a glass pan and forgetting to lower the temperature, so the bread came out burnt on the bottom but moist in the middle and top, I'm going to make again but in a metal pan

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake III

I didn't have any brown sugar for the glaze so i used white sugar, used pineapple rings with cherries in the center, and baked in a bunt pan. had to cook about 10-15 extra minutes.turned out great!!

Irish Boiled Dinner (Corned Beef)

used 2 lbs corned beef, not a fan of cabbage, added the peppercorn packet, simmered for 2 hours added potatoes for 30 minutes, forgot about the carrots, opps
