I am a 53 year old empty nester who lives in FL with my husband of 29 years! We are just rediscovering one another ... and life as a couple again. I have decided to take up cooking as a hobby, whereas, it was simply a necessity before. I am trading my casserole recipes for recipes that are a bit more sophisticated and complex. Wish me luck! I just finished taking a vegetarian cooking class at a local Buddhist temple that I just loved! I enjoy foods a little more on the gourmet side and with ethnic origins. My heritage is Hungarian and I still get a thrill out of sitting down to a traditional meal with some of my favorites from my childhood. I love to bake and that is probably where I do the best. I am definitely a recipe follower. Any of my flops have been when I have tried to "wing it" and failed miserably! Ha!
