I love to eat! Grew up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We have such a wide variety of food due to the diversity and colourful culture of the country. Food is always the topic of the day! I enjoy eating healthy foods and will usually prepare my meals with lots of fruits, veggies, eggs and some white meat but occasionally will crave for some smoked meats, pork or beef. I just love and miss the hawker food stalls in KL! (even though those type of foods are high in cholesterol and rich most of the time):P

Chocolate Chip Orange Zucchini Bread
A very tasty & moist bread. Increased the zucchini to 3-4 cups for 2 loaves of bread as recommended by other cooks. I used 50% all purpose flour and 50% whole wheat flour for a heavier textured bread. Used 1 cup of white and 1 cup of brown sugar but will reduce the amount next time as it was a tad sweet. As we didn't have any chocolate chips at home, I chopped up a 100g bar of Belgian Cote d'Or NOIR Orange 70% cocoa and added 1 tablespoon of lime juice and used lime zest instead which worked very well with the recipe. It was excellent. Thank you!

Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce
Very nice sauce indeed. I added some minced garlic while melting the butter in pan. The extra sauce on the serving plate did not go to waste; we mopped it up with some french baguette. yummy!
