Banana Sour Cream Bread

TO DIE FOR! no changes made. Cooked in the crock pot. Blended in my blender once finished (for a very fine, non-apple sauce like consistency.) Tastes AMAZING!!!!! I have not received a negative (or even NEUTRAL) comment about it yet!!!!

Pineapple Fried Rice II

Tasted just like the stuff we get @ the restaurant! Used shrimp instead of ham, onions instead of scallions, and added 2 Tbsp oyster sauce and ommitted the salt. Absolutely delicious. Thanks for the great recipe!

Potato, Broccoli and Cheese Soup

I was severly dissappointed with this recipe. Made it EXACTLY as written with the addition of 3 cloves of garlic. This was MAJORLY BLAND lacking just about ANY flavor. I didn't think it was possible to go wrong with such delicious ingredients, however, without some seriuos flavor changes (spices and such) I will NOT be making this again.

Chicken Zucchini Casserole

This was absolutely WONDERFUL! I used cornbread stuffing instead of regular (it was all I had on hand) and added mushrooms. Also used cream of mushroom soup because I didn't have any chicken. I think next time I'll try condensed CHEESE soup (reduced fat of course) to see if it will richen it up even more ! Thanks for the great/easy recipe!

Chocolate Zucchini Bread I

Added 1/2C. of vanilla yogurt, used half applesauce half oil, added 3 Tbsp extra of cocoa powder and cut down on the sugar by 1/2 cup. overall delicious!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

I DID make a few changes (sorry I HATE when people do this!) Instead of the butter I used 1/4c. applesauce (for health) and 1/4 c. veggie oil. Also, Instead of the sour cream (didn't have any on hand) I used 1/4 vanilla yogurt and 1/4 greek yogurt. All in all this bread was absolutely INCREDIBLE and was gone in about a day! THanks for the recipe!

Pot Roast, Vegetables, and Beer

Very tasty! Made this in a crock pot (on low for 10 hours or so) and everything was tender and delicious. Would have been even better poured over mashed potatoes instead of having potatoes in with it, however, that's just me being picky :-) The only changes I made were to add some chopped up green beans (they were about to go bad, had to put them to good use!)

Slow Cooker Chicken Pot Pie Stew

Just made it, its sitting in the crock pot. I wanted to 5-STAR this before tasting it simply for the easy and simple prep work. . . I'll be back tomorrow to see how the flavor is!.......... And I was correct! THis stuff is INCREDIBLE! the only difference I did was to use fresh instead of frozen veggies. Had it on low for 10 hours and the consistenc was PERFECT when I went to eat it (served over biscuits) Thanks for this awesome, easy and DELICIOUS recipe!

My Kid's Favorite Zucchini Bread

I WISH I could give this 4.5 or 4.75 stars!!!! Unfortunatly thats not an option. THis bread was VERY good, however, it did not bake correctly at such a low temp. That is my only complaint. My boyfriend loved it. I don't like nutmeg very much so if I were making it for me then I would omit that. Otherwise, everyone loved it and I have already gotten requests to make it again!

Chocolate Bar Fondue

I thought this was a good fondu, everyone else at the party absolutely RAVED about it! As suggested, I omitted the water and used 2 bags milk chocolate chips with one bag semi-sweet chocolate chips. You can't taste the coffee (even though I put it in) but when comparing side-by-side to one without coffee, the one without is lacking a certain depth of richness!

Nectarine Salsa

Absolutely FANTASTIC! Honestly, I liked it enough that I ate it straight up with a spoon. The tang of the balsamic with the sweet of the fruit plus the sharp onoins really is an incredible mix!

Italian Dressing Mix

This was ENTIRELY too salty. I forgot to read teh reviews, bad call on my part, which most people suggested eliminating or at least reducing. After making the recipe as is, I simply doubled the other spices to reduce the saltiness and it was perfect!

Easy OREO Truffles

These are INCREDIBLY tasty. I really REALLY liked the flavor. The only reason they get 4/5 stars is because they absolutely did NOT make 42 truffles as the recipe predicted they would. I only got a little under 30 out of them and they were no larger than the truffles that I made out of the "cake balls" recipe from this same site (which, coincidentally predicted fewer cake balls than I created all 3 times that I've made them!) Regardless, great taste, great look, but wish they made more!

Raspberry Banana Bread

I loved the flavor, however, the consistency was almost sponge-cake like (which I am NOT a fan of.) Everyone seemed to enjoy it, however, due to the consistency I'm not sure that I would make it again. The flavors were fantastic though!

Italian Wedding Soup I

This was absolutely SLPENDID! My boyfriend and I had never made wedding soup. He is crazy italian so he doctored u the meatballs with extra cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, basil and some oregano. Still the stated amount of egg and meat, however. They were DELICIOUS! Other than that, followed the recipe to a "t". The only other changes that I think I will do next time is to add a bunch of onion (personal preference) as well as maybe some ground oregano, basil, and salt and pepper to taste to the broth itself just to liven it up a tad. Regardless, great recipe. Thanks!

Cake Balls

These were very tasty and a lot of fun to make. They were VERY easy and a fun project. I took the advice of others and stuck the pre-formed balls in the freezer for 45 minutes to make the dipping easier. I used chocolate cake mix, triple chocolate chip icing and peanut-butter chips (with 1 Tbsp shortening to make it harden correctly.) These are good enough that I am interested in trying other combos. I imagine there are a few really STELLAR combos out there and, once I stumble upon them, I'll re-review :-) Thanks! *** EDIT *** I made strawberry cake with strawberry icing coated in chocolate. Pretty good, but not great. The chocolate with chocolate icing was MUCH better. Still, though, I'm VERY excited to keep trying out more different combinations!
