Great biscuits. I didn't have any shortening so I used butter instead and they still turned out fine. I brushed the tops with a mixture of garlic powder , melted butter, salt and parsley and got rave reviews from my family! I'll definitely be making this again.

Absolutely fantastic! I used to buy the packaged mix but, as my boys have gotten older (and their appetites bigger!), I decided to try making from scratch. I've tried a few other recipes that turned out "okay" but this one is FABULOUS and got rave reviews from everybody at a family dinner. Definitely recommend, came out perfectly. Followed recipe/directions exactly, no changes or substitutions. Thank you to the Submitter!
