I am being Mr. Mom for now. With the economy in shambles my wife is going to school to improve our way of life. I will be going back in the fall. I am a father of four boys. As they get older they eat more and more.
My favorite things to cook
I love to just start cooking with a general idea and see what comes out. I have had people ask for my recipes and I have to tell them I really don't have one. I especially like to cook Italian and Cajun.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family ate a lot of caseroles. I have changed a lot, in that I cook more healthy. I learned a lot from my wife and her mother(Cajun). I like Red Beans and Rice, Shrimp Gumbo, and Chicken Creole just to name a few.
My cooking triumphs
I make a mad Chocolate Cheese Cake. I have a I call creamy salsa Chicken(Killer). I also do a lot of cooking in a dutch oven over a fire, along with Tin Foil Dinners.
My cooking tragedies
I've tried to make a few things that no one would touch after the first bite. This could have something to do wioth just going in the kitchen and "throwing" stuff together, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I also tend to use too much spice for some people's taste.
