Special Buttercream Frosting
I just made this frosting following the recipe but the shortening tasted bland, so I added some melted butter (once i used partially frozen butter, only, without the shortening - turned out clumpy, but I had to use regular suger so maybe that's why), about half a stick, and some sugar and it tasted awesome! It is so easy to spread and the shortening AND butter version has great taste AND the consistency is the best! We spread the frosting on a cake (there was about half the amount left over and I'm saving it for the nest cake). We also made designs on the cake out of frosting. This frosting is VERY good, tasty, and easy to make!
