These were really good! I added bacon to the filling. I don't know why but I had about half of the filling leftover so I saved it and used part of it for pasta, I mixed it with a little bit of alfredo sauce over speghetti noodles. The last of it I made a chicken caserole with cream of mushroom and cream of chicken soup over chicken breasts. Everything was DELICOUS!

This was delicious! I agree with luv2cook in that it was ten times better later! I froze the leftovers and when I thawed and ate later it was amazing! I did half sausage and half ham cubes, which I think gave it even more flavor.

I added onions and a package of frozen corn in butter sauce and it was the best casserole I'd ever eaten! Thanks for the wonderful recipe!!
