Lemon Thyme Rice

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2009
Very light and fluffy. I will REDUCE the amount of Thyme to 1 teaspoon. I used low sodium chicken stock and had to sprinkle some salt on the finish product. However, Thank you sooo much for sharing. This is truly a nice touch to plain boring white rice. I will add this to my rotation.

Easy Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2009
Thank you soooo much for sharing K.Grecco. This was truly everything it said it would be. The chicken breasts were very tender. I did not have seasoned bread crumbs. However, I seasoned my "plain" bread crumbs with 2 tbsp of italian seasoning, 2tsps. of cajun seasoning, 1tsp. of cayenne pepper, 1 tsp. of crushed black pepper, and salt to taste. I blended all of these ingredients until thoroughly blended. My husband REALLY liked these. Thanks again for sharing. It seems as though I get better recipes from this website instead of the food network.com This will DEFINITELY go into my cooking rotation.

Honeyed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2009
This recipe did not turn out how I expected. I used the suggestions such as cut back on the soy sauce, use more ginger, let the chops marinate and add flour to the mixture to thicken. The sauce still did not stick to the chops and it became clumpy after baking. I used chops that had the bone in. They did come out tender because I covered them like someone suggested. I also only let them cook for about 45 minutes. I even browned them before baking. I don't know I was just disappointed. This is not a keeper for me.

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2009
Wonderful recipe! My husband loved it.He said it tasted like a dish from Olive Garden or Carabaas. I did make a few modifications to make it a little more healthy. I substituted low fat sour cream for the heavy whipping cream. I also used EVOO instead of butter.I also used a little flour to thicken. It is a keeper. However, we will only eat it ONCE a month. Thanks a million.

Restaurant-Style Hashbrown Casserole

This recipe is simple, yet very tasty and filling. I always prepare it when I am doing a brunch. What I love about it so much is that everything can be found in my pantry.Equally important, my picky teenager loves it. M.Baker

Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 22, 2009
I tried this recipe last night. It was great with the other suggested changes. I substituted 2tsp. of garlic instead of salt. I did not have beef bouillon cubes so I used low sodium chicken broth instead. I also rubbed kosher salt on my chops before rubbing on the sage mixture.I also had to add some flour to thicken up the gravy. My husband loved it. Thanks for all the helpful suggestions. This is a keeper. M. Baker
