Southern Fried Cabbage
I grew up on this recipe. Mom, who was from Alabama, made it in her big cast iron skillet most of the time and didn't use the oil. She added a little garlic and she added peppers to her own servings, since we kids didn't like spicy foods. It is my favorite way to eat cabbage and I'm happy to see so many people enjoying it, especially those who were not previously cabbage lovers. I will always enjoy this dish!
