Lemon Sorbet

I followed other reviewers and grated the peel instead of chopping it up. One thing I noticed is that when I used my ice cream maker to make this it took almost no time for it to start freezing up so I just want to warn you to keep an eye on it more closely. Next time I'm making this I'm going to add (as others have suggested) a little bit of alcohol because that keeps it from becoming too icy and hard. Some parts of the sorbet were almost rock solid, but still tasty nevertheless.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Everyone in my family agrees that this is the best pancake recipe we've ever tried. They're incredibly delicious and I always eat more than I should have when I make them. I did as some other reviews suggested and added a little more vanilla to the mixture and let the milk cool to room temperature. I love this recipe!

Italian Vegetable Soup

This soup has an amazing warm and hearty taste. I followed the recipe pretty much to the T, except I wasn't fond of the idea of using ground beef so I used some pork instead and cooked it till it was tender enough to pull apart easily. This has an amazing base to it which I think you could use for a multitude of other soups. Will definitely make this one again.

Buttermilk Pancakes II

I had a craving for pancakes and this far exceeded any and all expectations! These are better than any pancakes that I've ever had - they're light, fluffy, just the right amount of sweetness, and I could taste the butter in the pancakes which made it seem like it was melting in my mouth. I followed other reviewer's suggestions and added a teaspoon of vanilla extract, I let the milk/egg mixture cool to room temperature and I was careful to not over beat the mixture. I almost don't even want to bother trying anyone else's pancake recipe! Thanks for an amazing recipe!

Neat Sloppy Joes

I won't lie, I was a little apprehensive about this recipe when I was making it. However in the end, I could get enough of it. :) I really wish the people who hadn't added the celery or onion wouldn't rate this recipe lower than 5 starts because they think it tastes too bland. Even though I like celery and onion, I did as another reviewer suggested and threw them into my chopper till they were really small and added them in. You really can't tell that it's in there, but the flavor really shows and I really don't think most kids would notice it in there.

Sesame Pasta Chicken Salad

I really enjoyed this recipe - it's quick, easy and versatile. First, I did as the other reviews suggested and used less oil. Second, since I was using this as a main dish I put in more vegetables; peas, carrots and mushrooms (basically whatever was in my kitchen that I wanted to get rid of). I took the advice of another reviewer and waited 30 minutes after I had mixed everything together so the sauce had infused with everything in the dish. I was extremely happy that I was waited because I think this made the dish even more outstanding! Thanks for the add. :)

Roasted Pork Loin

I was a little apprehensive about making this recipe because I wasn't entire sure I was going to like it. Boy, was I surprised! This is my new favorite way to roast pork. What's even better is that after the roast is done cooking in the oven, I take chicken or beef broth (whatever I have atm) and take some of the leftover sauce in the pan and make a gravy out of it and it's soooooo amazing. The only thing I did different was not add the wine because I didn't have any at the time and it still came out wonderful.

Red Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Whenever I make this recipe there are never any leftovers! Like the other reviewers said I left out the sugar, but did as the recipe suggested for everything else. Thanks for such a great recipe. :)

D's Famous Salsa

I've now made this recipe too many times to count and everyone still loves it. I think it tastes exactly like the salsa you get at restaurants, maybe even better! For the most part I follow the recipe and I did like the other reviewers said and I strained out some of the excess juice from the tomatoes because for some people it's a bit too much. Occasionally I'll add a jalapeno because my boyfriend loves them and I find it gives it a nice and fresh spicy flavor. It goes great with any type of Mexican or Spanish dish. I'll be using this recipe for a very long time, thanks for such a great post!

Roasted New Red Potatoes

I've been making these potatoes for months now and I still love them. What I love most about them is how easy they are. I follow the exact directions of the recipe every time I make them and they come out perfect. They're crisp on the outside and soft on the inside and I think after you make them once you'll realize how amazing these potatoes go with nearly any recipe!

Herb Roasted Pork

I've never cooked a loin of pork before so I was really worried about it coming out tender and tasting good. Well, this recipe exceeded my expectations and I just went to the store and bought 2 more pork loins to cook because everyone loved this recipe! I pretty much followed the recipe except I used teriyaki sauce instead of soy sauce only because I didn't have any soy on hand. It still came out amazing and added a little bit of a different tang to it that I don't think the soy would have added. Instead of brushing the sauce on little by little I did what another reviewer said and poured it on all at once. Well, next time I'm definitely going to take the time and do it right because I think it would have tasted even better because it only had a thin coat of glaze and that sauce is too good to just sit at the bottom of the pan. Thanks for the great recipe!

World's Best Lasagna

Making this recipe was actually a lot easier than I thought it'd be and didn't take all that long. I followed the directions exactly and it came out perfect! I'm definitely going to keep making this and I'm never going to buy frozen lasagna again. :)
