Easy Strata and Variations
Wonderful strata! I used 8 oz of oven roasted turkey deli meat and 1 1/2 lb. of sauteed vegs (red, yellow, and orange peppers, and a small container of sliced mushrooms. My only suggestion is to add like 2t. of dry mustard powder to the egg mixture. I do this very often when adding cheese to a dish. My brunch guests went crazy for it. :-)

Vegetarian Moussaka
Scrumptious! Slightly time consuming to make, yes, but at least the effort was well worth it. Not all delicious dishes can be made in 10 minutes. I had plenty of extra moussaka and so I sliced the remaining amount into individual portions and put in the freezer. I enjoyed the dish just as much a week later. Nice to know thawed and reheated this meal still tastes great!

Mock Strawberry Jam
Surprisingly delicious and tasty. :-) What a nice surprise and twist to a new jam recipe. My only slight gripe is the color. Due to the strawberry gelatin... the jam turns out to be a candy apple bright colored red and not exactly the color strawberry jam is naturally. I might next time add a drop of red food coloring in an attempt to slightly deepen the color a bit.
