I'm working on my cooking skills because I want to be a multi-talented wife and mom someday :oD My boyfriend, Chris, is in the U.S. Army and will be deploying to Iraq this fall. I can't wait to "Wow!" him with my discovered talent for cooking and baking. If all goes well in the future, maybe I can cook for the two of us one day, instead of just me! LoL ;o)

My mom's Roadhouse Potatoes recipe, hotdishes (I'm that MN girl! LoL), chicken, and pasta :o)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Any family gathering that requires my dad to make his meatballs and chicken wings, using my Papa's recipe :oD Also, Nutmeg Logs (cookies) at Christmas, but I really miss my grandpa's rosettes :o/
My cooking triumphs
10 dozen Peanut Butter Kiss cookies for a Christmas Cookie Exchange, without ever having made them before. Turned out perfect! :o)
My cooking tragedies
Oddly enough, a can of frozen cinnamon rolls... they didn't bake all the way through, but still tasted good to me HaHa
