This dip is okay...isn't amazing or anything. Noone really ate it at my son's birthday party. Plus, even after using "fruit fresh" and a little orange juice, the apples set out to dip into it still turned brown. Didn't even try bananas for that same reason. Would be a good filling to add mini choc chips too, pour in a pre-made graham cracker crust and top w/cool whip for a fast, easy dessert.

It's only getting 3 stars bc the recipe for the "fudge" is horrendous. I'd made chocolate covered cherry cookies w/a similar recipe, so I knew[through trial & error] not to use as much sweetened condensed milk as stated.... was still wayyyyy too gooey, and artificial tasting. Don't waste your time w/the fudge recipe.... if you have choc chips on hand just melt em and pour it in the middle or something. The cookie recipe however, is amazing!! Great base for ANY filling. I'll prob use reese's pb cups next time, or hershey kisses for an easier, less time consuming recipe.

i love peppermint, but this just tasted plain artificial. It wasn't good... at all. Maybe it was bc I used candy canes instead of the starlite mints, I dunno. I know that I won't attempt to make this again though.
